Since so close to the raceway and knowing I'll be out of town most of the weekend, I made a quick stop via the 456 to Infineon to ooogle the Motorcycles.

This year many old timers, especially the Japanese bikes. Of course many one offs, and specialized types for certain 'back in the day' class events.

Took tons of pics, and will post some, but just starting the thread now.

3 day event. This year the venue goes 'green'. That is, a whole new race of America's only racing of electric bikes. Should be interesting if eriely more silent than one expects at a GP......

WELL as usual, my uploading was cancelled: I'll have to spend HOURS and HOURS re-sizing the pics....so, guess stay tuned.

Guess who's name was on the bike that the young lady won on on Saturday? Was there on Sunday to watch, and root for my clients (Team Hammer racing as Monster Suzuki, and Richie Morris Racing)

Are you kidding? Electric bikes? The AMA has already destroyed Motocross with the mandate of four strokes, what a joke. Now electric bikes? I cannot imagine attending an outdoor or even an indoor bike event with no sound.

You may not appreciate it as much as I do given my background in racing amateur and semi-pro motocross as a teenager (yes, yours truly participated in the amateur nationals at Loretta Lynns). Can you imagine watching this video with no sound, try it, boring. I actually saw Ricky race the amateur nationals when he was just a little tike.
