last year was rainy, and before sold to Boardwalk I would get free passes to the eating area: Sad to see that part go.

We are going Sunday only - will be at the Ferrari hospitality tent most of the time, arrive at about 10:30 am with the cars from Ferrari of silicon valley

We might be modifying our stance too. Understanding is there will be NO historic races and that probably means no historic cars to view.

No 599s no FXXs and that means only roundi-rounds with 430s. Hmmm.

Other than seeing Brad Goldstone and other friends, this might be a bust for us....but since only 5 miles from home, why not....lousy way to pick an event, even if close.

We'll see what developes, but not excited about spending the money to see not much: FofSF 'used' to comp us. I don't know Boardwalk, and the last conversation I had, 'on another site' was a bit condescending, which immediately turned me off.

Might just stay in the back yard, BBQ and stuff.

I hear ya, its a bit disappointing that they seem to have really reduced down the value you get - For me and my wife its mainly a chance to spend some time together with the Ferrari (My other woman) which is worth the fee alone - however, if things do not improve I have to say this may be the last one I attend... I've been to every event held up there and each year it seems to get smaller, less well attended and with a lot fewer cars - I'd really like to see more investment from Ferrari into US owners, I think I'll contact them about it

Guess they are beefing up the stops more in budding countries. I read this morning that China is almost overtaking all countries in luxury car market. Rolls feels it will overtake British local sales this year. Guess we could have an Infineon[dubai-ous]World center....linked to Africa USA: Flipper jumps a 599...that' I would like to see.

You are right, Rik. I don't do alcohol. I get wicked head aches from anything alcoholic. So I stay away from the stuff.

I was designated driver in the 60's! Classmates laughed at me cause I did not drink but then they all wanted me to drive them home when the room stated to spin!!!

They spent all their $, got drunk, and I hit on all the girls who were tired of drunk idiots!!!

In defense of the venue: Would REALLY get my fill of 430s for awhile and that may give me 'some' idea of the model a bit better......afterall, back in the day, one would ONLY see one model: I've become spoiled
