Ok, I always get stressed when I get close to finishing a project, this usually results in poor quality sleep. Last night I had a few glasses of single & a couple of good Ales & slept like a baby, until.................... I awoke in a cold sweat at around 5.00am having dreamed that Jimmy Saville had run into my car & then driven off without exchangeing details???????? WTF? Have I totally lost the plot? I know I can trust you lot to be honest with me:thumbup: hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..........hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm m hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm (It's just my therapy:stickpoke ) |

I don't know Jimmy Saville but it was still disturbing for me because this is what the picture reminded me of:

Hang on first off. Are we talking about Jimmy Saville - "Now then! Now then! Guys n' Gals!" Former Radio 1/2 DJ, Charity Marathon Runner, connoisseur of the finest gold garments, afficiando of Big Cigars, host of the fixed TV show 'Jim'll Fix It' and part owner of cement firm 'Jim'll Mix it' or Jimmy SaVille owner of Green Ford Escort reg no R110 RCY? |

Ha, good one Tif:thumbup: Sadly it was very much the cigar smoking, strangely threatening figure of Sir James Saville OBE |

Al you have definately not lost the plot. The guy in the offie must resent you bringing down the tone of his establishment by turning up in your slippers and has quite clearly laced your purchase with some form of hallucinogenic! or there is another very simple explanation for this...would you hang around to give your name and address to an angry, intoxicated Welshman if you had just banged him up the jacksy? No fear! |

I had a weird dream last night. I don't know if you get the show "Law and Order" over in the UK yet but it is pretty popular here in the US. http://www.tnt.tv/title/?oid=333808 Last night I dreamed I was Detective Lenny Briscoe and my partner was Detective Ed Green. We had to shoot a suspect. I told him not to draw his weapon but he did anyway. He lost. My wife dreamed that the tail of our cat "Ella" came off and grew legs and walked away. Capt. Sounds to me like you are afraid that something is going to happen to your project and that it's going to come from an unusual, but not unknown source. Sounds like you need more single malt to get you through the night. Jim Life's too short to be unhappy! |

| What do you mean, "NOT in the way you are thinking" ? Are you talking about sex? Look Al, if your wife screams during sex and it wakes you up, it sounds to me like you've got someone around who should at least be helping out with the household chores. Maybe it is this Jimmy Saville fellow.

Pete, I don't think it would be Jimmy Saville, there was a documentary about him on TV a few years ago and he had an unhealthy obsession with his mother Archie |

& if you ask me (which, to be fair, no one ever does) he presented an extremely disturbed character. I quite like Louis Theroux's laconic style, I don't tend to watch much telly but I always try to catch his stuff:thumbup: Did you see the Paul Daniels one? | |

Yes, Louis Theroux is great, I normally watch his stuff, I saw some of the Paul and Debbie Daniels one, I also saw the Hamilton's, but Jimmy Saville was definitely the most screwed up. I don't watch much telly either, only ever watch BBC2 or C4 type programmes, documentaries about things I like ...music,cars, history, geography, natural history ...etc, typical blokes stuff, can't stand soap opera's, saturday night talent shows and reality TV. That's probably why I spend more time at my PC on here, I can listen to my CD's Archie |

Great beards that band. I've got some ZZ Top somewhere, but haven't played it for years, might dig it out tomorrow. Been listening to Kraftwerk's 'Man machine' and Massive Attack's 'Blue Line' tonight. As well as liking my old punk, pub rock and new wave, I also like a bit of trip hop, dub reggae and good synth music. Archie |
