No sorry, haven't been to LOndon for a couple of yrs. I wouldn't take the car anyway. Leics to St Pancrass is only an hour on the train and probably cheaper than Red Kens silly congestion charge

Are they still talking about trialling it in most large cities?
I know that Cardiff was in line for a trial but it seems to have gone (thankfully) quiet at the moment.

Pete, feel free to join in with the Brits, there aren't many of us on this site so New Engalnd is good enough for me. Anyway most of our US cousins have probably got British or Euro DNA from way back in time.

They're talking about doing it in leicester too. They are a prettty militant bunch of left wing loonies here, so there's a good chance it will happen soon. They'll probably ban the car unless if has CO2 emissions of less than 80 as well

My heritage is mostly French but there is a little English in the blood on my mother's side.

I used to work with this one Brit over in China and Vietnam and when we were out drinking he'd always chat up the the ladies and ask if they had any English in them. When they responded no he would say, "Would you like some?"

The UK government is a constitutional monarchy; a system of government in which a monarch is guided by a constitution whereby his/her rights, duties, and responsibilities are spelled out in written law or by custom. The USA government is a constitution-based federal republic with a strong democratic tradition; a state in which the powers of the central government are restricted and in which the component parts (states, colonies, or provinces) retain a degree of self-government; ultimate sovereign power rests with the voters who chose their governmental representatives.

I don't think there is any such thing as a true democracy. It seems that everywhere you go there is a small group of people deciding what is best for everyone.

I think you should change the last word there to 'themselves'. That would be a fairly accurate representation of British politics.

How true, is anyone really stupid enough to be taken in by what the Western world calls Democracy? Is the voice of the common man ever heard?It doesn't matter whether it's unfair taxes on Uk motorists, the Iraq war or something else, Governments and secret societies pulling their strings will always do whatever the want, and F*@% the people.

But who cares, it's a sunny day, and if I get home early enough I'm taking the F-car out for a spin.
