Anyone know whats involved in the replacement of the water Temp Sensor on a 88 Testarossa. Also is there a way to test and make sure its actually the sensor thats bad. I already checked the Fuses and Relays.

Not what you're going to want to hear but you need to buy a repair manual. You can shell out for a factory one or, you can get one on CD. http://search.ebay.com/ferrari-repai...ectZ1QQfromZR8 If I had one I'd look it up for you. But, I don't. Charles Wells (aka senna21) |

There are two water temp sensors, one on the gooseneck at the front of the engine and the other at the bottom of the driver's side ratiator. The cooling fans are controlled by the sensor at the bottom of the radiator...and I assume that's the one your asking about? You'll have to remove the left rear wheel, and the forward panel of the wheel well, to gain access. Not a big deal to change. The other sensor is at the front-top area of the engine, under the rear window and grill area. You'll probably have to remove the small grill section (4 bolts) to gain access. Neither sensor is a big deal to change out, but it is a messy job. I see this post is an old one....perhaps you've done the job by now?
