Default Front strut removal

Looking for advice on removal of the front shock/strut unit on the TR, 2 of the 4 bolts are not able to have a spanner put on them.
I thought of drilling a hole through the inner guard to get a socket on them. looks like the body was glued to the chassis after the strut was fitted to the frame? thoughts or advice would be great.

You going to need to get a better set of spanners because the nuts just need removing to get the suspension unit out!
