Default F40 Service

F40 has gone off to service now. It wil be getting 4 new tires and we will be finally sorting the issue with the adjustable suspension where the right hand side is not dropping all the way down (might need a new spring). Otherwise nothing major (or so I hope) other than then usual annual service. Should have it back in a few weeks.

Pity. Do you have the 360 around?

Nice to know it's all sorted again. What turned out to be the problem?

Long story. Not one major thing in particular. Just a lot of small things that added up over time. Have to keep reminding myself that this is a 17 year old car now.

Thankfully it also makes you feel like a 17 year old when you push the throttle!

Terrific that all is well again - you must have missed it.

Have definitely missed it. Would have loved to have had it on FLED 2.

Actually age is more in the range of 8 or 9

So you're saying it doesn't make you feel horny, confused, on top of the world, insecure, snobbish, and awkward all at the same time?

That really depends on if the rear wheels are firmly planted or have started to move sideways

F40 just came back from its annual service today. Zero issues found and service was completely routine. Regular use has great benefits!

Good news on getting it back but are you saying you sent it off three years ago and now just getting it back?

that's the chronology of the thread.

Couldn't find the thread with the services from 2010 & 2011.

Happy for you and your F-40.
Going to Gingerman Raceway in Michigan for FCA Central States track weekend. In shop now for rotors, tech, etc for wife,s F-40.
Retirement (not driving to work) and using the red gokart wth the V12 for track events has slowed down mileage accumulation, but attended a local track day this week and saw the odometer finally turn over the 50,000mile mark.
Funny how a noisy 22year-old work of art can cause uncontrollable giddiness.
Best to all on forum.

Great to see the love affair continues.

Finally have a bright sunny day here and will be out in the F40 in a matter of minutes.

It is amazing how a 20 year old (mine is one of the last built) still always puts a smile on my face and still gets everyone's attention on the road.
