Thanks, my F40 is mostly stock although I added F50 brakes and Tubi straight pipes and a digital boost controller The 512TR racer will pretty much destroy a stock F40 on just about any track The F40 accelerates harder but the 512TR brakes harder and Ive learned to toss her like a big 308 ![]() Ive only tracked the F40 once with the stock brakes adn road tires and those brakes were so bad it was ridiculous, my Chevy SUV had better brakes Also the 512TR is much safer since its a dedicated track car so I either take that or my 07 Corvette Z06 out when I really want to play on track |

The F50 brakes made the F40 much more enjoyable for me. I really was not too happy w the car before I swapped the brakes. Afterwards I love the car

(sorry for all the questions but this seems like a great solution as you could then swap back to the stock brakes if needed) Boxer Current: F40, F50, 612, 430 Scuderia Past: 360 Modena, 360 Challenge, 550, 575, 365BB, 512BB, 456 GT, F355 GTS, 365 GTB/4 Daytona, 308 GTB

| The one I would really like to take around a track is a F50 GT.

| The limits on the F50 are intimidately high. On all the other F cars I have driven, the F50 is the most imposing.

| Yes it does vibrate more as the engine is bolted to the bulkhead. You don't really notice it except on long trips (4-5 hours) when it can get a bit tiring.

| I have also heard of this being done. One thing to note, while the F50 brakes are definitely better than the F40, they are still not on par with current technology. Best brakes I have had on a Ferrari were the ones fitted to the 360 Challenge.
