...........anyone know if the 288 GTO ever came in Right Hand Drive?????

no , definately not ,production cars all lhd + all rosso corsa red , Andy.

ah yes , what i meant to say was all factory production 288 GTO,s where red + lhd , sorry if there was any confusion.

True with the exception of the specials done for the Sultan of Brunei which are RHD.

if I remember correctly, I've seen pictures of a yellow F40 with LHD

not sure if it belongs to the Sultan of Brunei

It is a repaint. You can see the original red around a few of the stone chips on it.

The one I have seen is German registered and LHD.

i know we are off the 288 topic here but here is a yellow F40 ( ex Rod Stewart) pictured by me at oulton park foc track day circa 1998/1999 .
