| That one's easy Arch, I'd be too scared to drive any of them so I'd take my truck. Capt. Pete '79 308 GTS, '82 Jeep CJ7 Jamboree "Time is what prevents everything from happening all at once." |

What an amazing sight, the only thing better than that would be to have Charlize Theron and Catherine Zeta Jones in bed waiting for you and saying when are you coming to bed sweetie??? ~ 1990 348 TS (87284) “I build cars for young men that only old men can afford” - Enzo Ferrari |

Hi Boxer - I know these are all probably quite different cars, but I'm just wondering how you feel about the F40 vs. the F50. I guess the F40 is more raw, and the F50 more comfortable as a GT. Are acceleration, etc. a lot different in the F40 (like a kick in the pants), compared with the F50? How about ride and handling? Not really looking for a complete technical analysis or lots of detail (unless you want!), but just wondered what you can tell us about your feelings on driving the F40 vs. F50. Anyway, if you have the time, I'm interested in your thoughts! Anyone seen a direct test of F40 vs. F50 in any mags? Best of luck with your incredible stable!!! Rick |

Evo magazine in issue 64 did a road test where they compared a 288 GTO vs F40 vs F50 vs Enzo. In this test the F50 came out on top. Boxer Current: F40, F50, 612, 430 Scuderia Past: 360 Modena, 360 Challenge, 550, 575, 365BB, 512BB, 456 GT, F355 GTS, 365 GTB/4 Daytona, 308 GTB | |

That F50 is such a tremendous automobile! ![]() I like the picture of the F40 & F50 in the garage (the one without the covers) - they look like they are plugged into the wall socket! . Last edited by t1fosI; 12-03-2007 at 03:07 AM. |
