they thing i dont understand is why they made such a big change on how the new ferrari enzo, when it was supposed to be the new model of the F50--- that thing looks so ugly-- damn-- engine wise was smart but they should of the left it like the F50 Koenig special-- just tweak the body a bit but not make it that UGLY. i dont care what ya say- that car looks so ugly and so many people have agreed with me, the car is built for speed but who is actually gonna go that fast unless they are on a track-- i love ferraris but not that one- its too damn ugly- it shows exactly what type of engieer made it- they should it left it to the italians. |

the car is amazing, especially in real life. besides it was never called F60, that was just speculation of the fans, if it was to be named F60 then it had to come out in 4 years, so who knows, maybe their will be an F60. and i'm not really a big fan of Koenig. especially when he starts on the bodywork |

With the supercars (and this is one of them) it is all about functionality. Th ewhole car is built for speed, and you can see that. That's why it is so beautiful. When you look at it for th efirst time, it's awful, I agree, but when you look further, it is just perfect. Another question: I read somewhere that the Enzo will only be available in red and yellow, and ond the site of Dj Dirk I see a black one? Anyone? |

the Enzo is/was available in 3 colors red, yellow and black apparetly 75% is red, 20% yellow (wich i LOVE) and only 5% in black that black enzo that i saw was romoured to be the Enzo for Jean Todt. at the moment there is a black Enzo in NY at Ferrari of Long Island waiting for delivery to its lucky owner |

I must have been the only person to like the car at first site. Name another car that even comes close to looking like it or vice versa, what car does the Enzo look like? It is very unique and very easily recongnizable. As far as nationality of the car designer goes all I have to say is this. Both Pinninfarina and Ferrari could have said, no we don't like that design so I would therefore agure that it is as much an Italian design as Japanese.

Andrew asked if another car would look similar to the Enzo. Maybe these two can qualify: Pagani Zonda Vector Niels |

No way the Zonda doesn't look like the Enzo and the Vector is just plain ugly |

The rear lights of the Zonda are similar to the Enzo but that is about the only thing.

Well, If you imagine a 'two seater' Zonda, it has the same concept IMHO. Jet Fighter style cockpit and both not the most beautiful car in the world! Ferrari has a strange line of supercars: From marvelous (288 GTO) to beautiful (F40) to unattractive (F50) to ugly (Enzo). What is next? A 300km/h MPV? Niels |

Common, i love the Zonda & the Enzo ok, i admit the first time you see one of them it is weird, especially on photo, but in real live both are amazing |

Dirk, The Zonda I find ugly, picture or real! The Enzos rear is quit nice, but the rest!!!! I dislike the nose section with the weird 'triangle' and the cockpit could have made more fluent by which I mean a bit more nice looking. Niels |

Its been said by everyone, that you must see it in person. My chances of seeing one here in Canada are next-to-none, so I'll have to wait until Sept. when I do the Ferrari factory tour and see it on the production line... |

I have seen it in real, but I am still not a big fan of it! If I could choose, I would have bought a 360 spider, a 575 Maranello and a 360 Challenge and still have money left... Niels |

Niels get a Stradale instead of a Challenge, that way you can have more fun on the road  :green: Peter you are going to a factory tour?? AWESOME wish i could come with you BTW i'm not sure that there will be an Enzo on the line anymore by then, I think most of them should be delivered by then |

Dirk, I'll be doing the Ferrari AND the Maserati factory tours! I was lucky as Maserati weren't before, but have just recently started to take reservations. I'll also try to do the Lamborghini tour as well, plus visit some special museums and collections (don't worry, I'll take lots of photos... except for the factories, they don't allow photography within the buildings ).As for the Enzo, its reported in the recent issue of Prancing Horse, that Enzo production should end in 2004 (U.S. cars only started being built at the beginning of this year and they wrote it takes six months to build one Enzo!!! They complete one car a day). |

Peter, Back in 1997 Lamborghini allowed me to take pictures in their factory, but Ferrari didn't. Make sure you check the Galleria in Maranello and if you are a collector of memorabilia and models you definately should check the shops in Maranello as well. For Classic Ferrari's you might want to go to Tony Auto and to round it of, you can have a look at the gate of the Gestione Sportiva, the Cavallino Restaurant and Fiorano of course! Which issue is Prancing HOrse now? I still am buying a lot of them, but I do not exactly know for sure which issue they are now (143?) Niels |

I read an article in "Forza" magazine about the head designer. He said he did not want to make it's looks too comfortable but with a tie to the F2002. I think he succeeded. I personally am fond of this design. It's wicked. Forza, Dane 1981 Ferrari 308GTSi #37383 |

I have to admit, the styling is growing on me. I didn't like the car much at first, but since seeing more photos, I am more impressed. I concur on the black version. The black car is much nicer. steve |
