I think it used to belong to the owner of Prancing Horse Racing, a wealthy man based In Melbourne. Prancing Horse Racing runs and prepares Ferraris especially the 360 Challenge cars and the 360 GTs as well as Porsches. He also bought 2 of Michael's F1 cars, I think.

No, the car was kept at Prancing Horse, but they weren't the owners. I didn't go to the day he used it at Phillip Island, but from all reports, and I do have pics somewhere I think, it was pretty spectacular. I think he sold it a while ago, though, so the person who bought it from him must now be selling it already. I'll see if I can find out.

Not that much. Even Michael's F2003 car is priced at 1.3 million Euro. That F50 doesn't have history only rarity. Ferrari buyers will only pay premium for rarity and history!!

Yeah, the car really only has its rarity. Only 3, so obviously rare. Although I say that it's quite the impressive car in person. Just that much of a step above the "normal" F50. Saying that, I'd love to own this car.

When the australian collector bought 003 in 2000 he paid $1,430,000 at a RM Auction.

There's rumors that Oakfields are asking 2.0 million Euro's.

That would be nearly double what it went for at RM with the dollar losing value. That is a major jump in just 4 years.

Default FORZA FERRARI AETERNA

Sorry for my intervention and for my bad english, but I wanna say to U that U boys forgotten ONE BIG THING: A FERRARI is not just a SUPERCAR with a GREAT HISTORY and with HIGHEST PERFORMANCE.......A FERRARI is something more....All of FERRARI has its own SPIRITS, The Spirits Of Enzo Ferrari, the spirit of superiority, THE POWER OF SPEED...... And if somewhere a richy man buys a FERRARI with a lot of money (even millions of EURO), that means that he buys The Spirit of Prancing Horse, he became a part of Ferrari History.....

EUGENIO,

Welcome to Ferrari Forum. No need to apologize for your English. This site is very international and we are always welcoming new members. Where are you located?

I think we all agree with what you say about Ferraris being special or else we wouldn't be here. Enjoy the site.
