No, from what I've read in official Ferrari media is a more reasonable :roll: $500,000 US and only a top speed of 200MPH. The advancements over the old F50 would be quicker acceleration, exotic materials and F1-derived shifting technology (not the simple one found on the 360).

i read it will be 650hp from a 6-liter engine, good for "only" (considering the power on tap) about 200-205mph, but with 0-60 times down around 3.0 secs and 0-100 around 6.0 secs. also heard state of the art ceramic brakes and a new F1 system

i'm pretty sure the car is being revealed on the ferrari owners site (http://owners.ferrari.com) on the 16th. hopefully members of the site can post some pictures and info then. otherwise we have to wait for the paris motor show in the fall. road and track this month has a blurb on it

Is it now defenitly on the Paris motor show
because at first there was a possibility that it would be at the Ferrari days Nurburgring. I thinking of goingthis year.
If it is in Paris that's even bettet, that's closer and for the F60 i will drive over there

I agree, a 4 hour drive to Paris is well worth it to see the unveiling of the F60. As always I'm sure you'll take lots of kickass pictures

yup dirk thats the official picture (not computer generated) that was posted on the ferrari owners site by the company yesterday. also check out these sketches that were also on the site. you have to provide proof that you own a ferrari (VIN #, etc) to become a member, so the site usually gets all the exclusive stuff. now if only i had a ferrari....

yeah guys they were leaked to me by a friend who's uncle owns a 328 (and lets my friend log on as him). we are both fanatics so we had been keeping an eye on the site all day

geez guys if i knew i was going to get the 4th degree i wouldn't have bothered... :wink:
