I saw a program on Speed TV (Sports Car Revolution), the guy drove a 288 GTO with very low miles and he said in excellent condition and if I remember corectly, they would go for over $80K.

Well if you EVER find one for THAT price, let me know, i'll buy it on the spot

Normally GTO's go for in between $250.000 - $350.000

Yep - I'll buy on at that price too!!

UK pricing is very similar to that of the F40 - so in the region of £170,000.

The NADA blue book shows an "average" retail price of $268,500. The range, depending on condition, is from 206,550 to 315,675.

that sounds more like it. 80k is too cheap for an 'uber' ferrari. well at least uber enough for me. Anyone know the ballpark figure for the 288 GTO Evoluzione?

It's between 165,000 to 190,000 sterling pounds. Buy a Motorsport magazine that specialise in classic cars and you'll see the adverts from the different dealers in England. It's possibly cheaper in Germany though.

IF one of them ever comes for sale again
then they are valuated at $600.000 - $650.000

That's more expensive than the F40 LM isn't it. How many Evoluziones were made? 2? 3?

The 288GTO cost about the same as the F40 and certainly cheaper than the F40LM. Are we talking about the same car here?

Check out EVO either January or February 2004 edition (I can't remember), where the 4 cars, Enzo, F50, F40 and 288GTO were tested. The prices are published there. So lets not argue over this. The magazine will tell all.
