| Not yet , but thinking about it! The 3 cars i love are the F40 , F50 , and Enzo! Also in another class , the Dino and the TR So i do not know where to begin and also the investment is great! But this gear issue in the Enzo case has me thinking! Its clear that i like the F's better but still wouls be nice to have the Enzo. Pablo- There is no gear issue with the Enzo, period. The system has a min shift speed of 150 ms, which is two to four times faster than you can shift your Dino, so why should that be a problem? Same shift speed as the Challenge Stradale and nobody is wringing their hands over that speed. My 575M with F1 has a minumum shift time of 220 ms, and that pops you in the back on every upshift at high revs, especially in Sport. The Scud/16M and GTO get that down to 60 ms, but those are newer generation systems with internal gearbox mods to get to that shift time. If you get an Enzo, the gearbox will work fine. But if you want it to shift faster, that will be easy to do for someone with $1M to spend on a car. Just requires a few algorithm changes to get it down to 85-100 ms. But the Enzo system works great the way it is. Boxer's minimum shift speed on his 612 is 180 ms and Doug's is ~160 ms, so ask them if there is a shift speed problem. Pablo- None of the owners apparently think it is a problem that I have heard about, so I have not heard of anyone feeling it necessary to mod the software. Have you driven an F1 equipped Ferrari?

Pablo- Good news for you then. Ferrari quotes the F430 min shift time as 150 ms, same as the Enzo. 2005 Ferrari F430 Taz Terry Phillips Present: 575M 135171 Past: Dino 246 GT 02984, 365 GTB/4 14009, 308 GTS 25125 Every day I look around, and if nobody is shooting at me, it is a pretty good day. |
