Give Stewart Roden at Scuderia Ecosse a try Scott, tell him you're a friend of mine, his landline is 01506 890724 as he has a few F50 clients so maybe able to assist.

Also, do Eurospares not hold that kind of stock?

Hi Boxer,

I've contacted my mechanic, he's working on a F50. Maybe he's got one...
I'll let you know when he gets back to me.

Default F50 Floating Valve

I also have a F50 and have the same problem. In one of the threads you stated that you determined that the original manufacturer of the FERRARI part number 166607
Floating Valve. Could you please provide me with the name of the manufacturer that originally supplied the Floating Valve to FERRARI S.p.A. FYI a Floating Valve in this particular application serves Three (3) purposes to prevent fuel from the bladder ileaking or spilling out in the event of a roll over, allow air to escape as fuel is put in the bladder and as fuel is burned to let air into the bladder. I am working diligently with my authorized FERRARI Dealer The Collection in Coral Gables, Florida to find a correct replacement. Have you come up with a solution.
My E-mail address is frogwo@att.net
Thank you.

We just came up with a solution and had them re-manufactured in much stronger stainless steel. I will email you the details of the guys who have arranged it.

Boxer- Way to go. 100 years from now, that valve will still be functioning like brand new. SS cures a lot of problems.

Boxer- You should check with your favorite parts distributors, like Paul Hill at Hill Engineeering, or Daniel at Ricambi, and see if they would be interested in carrying the part for future failures on others' F50s.

Fantastic news! It will be great if the F50 is not there anymore when I drop the Boxer off next time.

It has been back now for a bit over a week. Had a great drive out in it last weekend:

and then took the F40 out later in the day:
