The whole point of the fxx was to do the development program, no? If you bought it and didn't do that program, you basically wasted your money. Now there's nowhere to race it and you can't drive it on the street, so what do you do with it besides look at it? Track day? What a waste.

What exactly does this mean in the description?

An off-shoot of the second car but developed only for the track, this particular FXX was upgraded to Evolution trim by Ferrari's racing division for Ferrari owners, Corse Clienti, in the fall of 2010. Since its return, the track-ready 2003 model has sat unused as one of only 35 FXX cars and 17 Evolutions in the world!

which part don't you understand? can you be more specific? looks like he had it updated then never drove it. I have a bunch of really good pics of this car from supercar weekend a couple years back. outrageous in person.

I think - get the feeling that there is more to it.

Maybe damaged and repaired or rebuilt and "since" has only been driven 7 miles.

An offshoot of the second car - something that branches out or derives its existence or origin from a particular source.

No I think they are talking about the FXX Evoluzione, this car being upgraded to Evoluzione specs after starting life as an FXX. I think it drove 7 miles as an Evoluzione.
