Dear friends The only 2 documents (and the at all 2 missing things with my F50) missing for my F50 are finally in my hands. The "Certificate of origin" and the personal letter from Luca di Montezemolo. After asking my seller Ferrari dealer to organize it....unsuccessfully..then asking Ferrari Classiche directly to organize it...unsuccessful again i wrote a personal letter in November to Luca di Montezemolo to ask for these 2 documents....and got it today. BTW, digging seems to pay off as this is the 2nd time I approach them to speed up things. First time was with the delivery of the Scuderia. They put me on a waiting list 1 month before promesed delivery for a further 12 month out...then I insisted by writing...2 month later I had the car. |

Great news! Very kind of LdiM to sort that out for you after personal request. And to have everything complete with your car not only makes you happier, it also helps a lot with value. People are careless and lose things. It's hard to find cars that still have all the bits. Onno Future: 458 Italia (May 2012) Present: 550 Maranello, 330GTC, 365BB (x2) Past: eh - see above. |

Excellent 212. How nice to have received a reply from LdM. Maybe Ferrari isn't a completely faceless unpersonal organisation after all Barry Ferrari's: 360 Modena F1, 308 GT4 Other Italians: Ducati 916, Ducati 848 DD's: RR Sport, BMW 645ci, BMW 1200GS Adv. |

212- That has to be one of the most complete F50s extant. Enjoy driving her.

Thank you guys. It shows that sometimes it maybe appropriate to go around the dealers and go the direct way. |

The one thing I am missing is the LdM letter so I might try the same approach. Boxer Current: F40, F50, 612, 430 Scuderia Past: 360 Modena, 360 Challenge, 550, 575, 365BB, 512BB, 456 GT, F355 GTS, 365 GTB/4 Daytona, 308 GTB | |
