Default Bought the F50

One week ago, all "if's and when's" finally came to an end and I bought the Ferrari F50.

The car has 5'000 km's, and will be delivered (as planed) end of October after some parts have been delivered from the factory and after being confirmed by our MOT.
After all, my decision took the path of the "heart" (F50) and not the path of "rationality" (F40).

I sincerely would like to thank all of you, who followed, commented and guided me over these years(!) regarding the process of evaluating, verifying and falsifying to finally arrive at my modern car's "dream point".

I hope I will still rate it as a dream after using and driving it....but after all, I will never find out and get really competent on it without owning and driving it!

It's here! 212export realises his dream! I think it can be a very rational thing to follow your heart, once in a while, when it really counts.

Well done my friend, may you have many blissful miles.

Not that I know anything about F50, I think a car of this class seeks a competent and deserving owner who can truly make the best of the potentials this car can offer. Thus, I cannot think of any other to be owner than you, 212, ... with your experiences and knowledge under your belt. Looking forward to your tales with your dream car, 212. w/ smiles Jimmy

Congratulations 212Export! Delighted that you are following your heart and have found a good F50. What a magnificent stable, classic D and fulsome F50! Wishing you many happy and safe driving miles in both.

Congrats 212!

A Ferrari car collector told me many years ago that we don't really own these magnificent machines. We are simply caretakers.

You are probably one of the best caretakers of this F50 for the next generation given your passion for everything Ferrari.

Enjoy

Congratulations 212Export! I had nothing to offer your specifics other than follow your dream. Believe you were 90% on that path anyway.

212!!: crowngrin:

Supercongratulations!!! I know how hard you have looked for this car and how purposefully you have planned for it. I shall now immediately buy shares in Pirelli. I have a feeling they will do very well soon.
