First of all I'd like to congratulate you and commend your excellent taste in fine automobiles.

I have just read every post and loved every minute of it ( probably more than most as I was able to absorb the full episode from start to delivery in one go, rather than being teased with snippets of info), I'm so glad you have shared your experience with others.

As you may of guessed from my name the F50 is my all time favourite car, and I have had the pleasure of riding in 2 of them a yellow one as a barchatta, and a red one with the hard top in place. The yellow one was my dads and before he sold it fit a tubi, ( at the cost of a new small family car ).

The red one was a friend of my dads from Ferrari club Cataluña when they tried to beat the record Guinness for ferraris in one place at one timein 2003, only managed 143 or 148 something like that, so it wasn't a record, but everybody met at port to greet Italians and mallorcans of the boat with ferraris and my dad asked his friend who was in his f50 and had a spare seat if I could have a ride, and wow the only F50 there on the day and we had a police escort who were kindly stopping traffic and holding lights as we raced through the streets of Barcelona around the old gran prix circuit of monjuic overlooking Barcelona and down to port olympic near casino to officially count cars over the line. To this date this has to be one of the best days of my life, what an experience. I felt very privileged that day, and hope you too are able to enjoy your car as much as you can and share it with others whenever you can.

I'm new here! But first of all, congratulations for you new "daughter", hope you have a good time with that car!! I can't imagine how is like to open your garage and see those two beauties!
