There have been many discussions and questions when exactly the ME7.1.1 Ecu decides to open the exhaust valves on the F430 or Scud.
I created this detailed table which shows, depending on the engine load - engine revolutions - manettino mode, when exactly the exhaust valves will open or close. The information is based on all the technical information I have been studying on the ME7.1.1.
Hysterisis can be understood as a sort of transition between two stages. To avoid the valves opening/closing (flapping) in this intermediate stage, they will be left open or closed during this transition stage. It will take several engine revolutions for the valves to open. There is also a delay between the order given by the ME7.1.1 Ecu and when the solenoid valve opens concretely the valve.
This table is identical for the F430 and Scuderia/16M.
As you can see, only the Wet mode has a different behaviour as in this mode, the exhaust valves will open must later.
