We made a minor adjustment to our site this morning, and I hope it'll make surfing for Ferrari parts online at Ricambi America more enjoyable. In the past, a visitor needed to click into each individual item to see pricing. Now, we have integrated the pricing into our primary diagrams. On the right-side of the table, you'll see the 'price per each' of the individual items. This should make browsing faster, because you don't need to click into each item just to see how much something costs. (Of course, you can still click the part number itself to see photos, more description, etc) Some items might not show a price, and instead will display 'call'. I'm thinking about how to handle these items -- they are things where the displayed part number no longer exists because of a supersession, or because the item isn't actually available as a singular part. My suggestion would be this: if you see 'call', first click into the item and look for the text 'this item has been superseded....' (in red). If you see that stuff, click it to move forward to the current/active part number. If you don't see that text and instead only see "price = $0.00", then give us a ring. Anyway, I hope this helps a wee bit! (We're having great fun with the chat feature too, and appreciate everyone who has used it so far) |

Nice change, Daniel. That should speed things when getting quotes together. |

YES!!!!: As of yesterday's posting, taken directly from your site, I noticed I needed to have many screens open for that info: Well done. Now, if you can incorporate a Guido-the-mechanic avitar to discuss my concerns [3-d glasses extra] you would be way to untouchable.

did something happen to Ricambi site? I cannot find the exploding drawings or such for any cars. Used to be from the link above a real nice feature: Did Ferrari jump on someone...noticed Euro Spares still going.

| You have to scroll down the left side until you see the Reference Catalog link, click on it then when the new page opens, and you can click on Visual Parts Catalog there.

There is some type of issue with it beyond Ricambi's control as I understand it--Daniel posted a thread about it on the other site...

Daniel memtioned that Ferrari is 'cracking down' on such postings to various sites. It seems 'others', like Eurospares, chooses to ignore Ferrari. As Daniel, I might be inclined to find an alternative...like PERSONAL PICS. with links to Model numbers and/or part numbers These can be imported into, say, PS or such, put out in negative format and looks fairly similar...actually PS would allow layering which is a benifit. I have some spare time. Perhaps I can do an example. Hyperlinks to part number and bingo: Skirt the copyright issue...MATTER of fact, and perhaps Art can chime in. it would be MY COPYRIGHT and Ferrari or anyone else, have nothing to say about it. WHat say guys. EMIAL Me a pic, of whatever, and I'll see what can be done. Guide to the Galaxy: Don't Panic Rik -- LAH ! | Not about ignoring Ferrari-----Some businesses have permission from Ferrari to show those diagrams---So doubtful they will disappear from every place....

as a side issue, I UNDERSTAND that only the drawings are the issue here and NOT RICAMBI. Everything is usual. The enhanced drawing/cat taken off is gone. I still plan to take pics, layer them and link them to part numbers. THAT is my ability and not copyrighted by Ferrari. and It sounds like a really fun project....
