Borrani- I wish I needed competition Borranis, but no, it was just a bit of curiosity. The competion wheels on the LM and GTB/C were just so attractive, and I was not sure if they were still available.

Well first of all, chroming and glass bending are two things that we do not handle in shop and are outsourced.
Who do you use....I guess I didn't know you could bend glass.

Secondly, once you have the CAD files, there is no sense in messing with models. We also do rapid-prototyping and machine-made 3-D models that save you loads of time and are based off of your CAD file. If you were to change something in your CAD program and wanted to see a model of it, rather than just messing with models, we can rapid prototype here in shop.
Mike is thinking he my like a model.....not that a rapid proto isn't a faster way to get what's in the CAD files, but a model lets Mike change what he doesn't like when we runs his hand over it, then we scan the model to act as the base for the CAD files. We'll see what makes sense as we get closer. The mold plugs will come directly from the CAD files.

Just curious, do you own your own shop or is building cars something you just do as a hobby? Thanks again for the feedback.
A workshop, not a "shop", this is just a hobby for me.

Default Simply stunning

It never ceases to amaze me that there are still such talented engineers and technicians out there in this day of throwing everything away.

Superb work, I am truly impressed.

Hey MyCarQuest,
Yeah, we can take care of anything with wheels (or in your case, missing wheels). Is it something you would like me to send to our shop to see what they have to say about it?
