Dave, how's the progress on this? Did you put it back on the dyno?

560Km on the motor . Pulls sweatly to the red line . It's got great midrange torque , much more than I antisipated .
I will put it back on the Dyno as soon as I have time

Dave- Beautiful 308. Not sure how I missed this thread earlier. That was a really healthy dyno run, so no wonder she runs so well.

Very good to hear! She looks great.

As an aside, it always surprises me a bit how large cars have gotten. Those 458s are slim and sharp my modern standards, but next to the 308 they look huge. That said, I'd gladly take one if given the opportunity...

The 458 is a great Ferrari and a worthwhile successor to the Dino and follow-on V8 Ferraris.

Agreed. It's the first V8 to come out since the 355 that I've completely fallen over. I'm just about $250k short right now or I'd sell the 308 and step up.

I love your car Dave! Brilliant

So, Dave's car made 195lbs tq which is downright fantastic for these motors. I have never seen one that high with just 3L at the wheels. 348s don't even make that much

Wow thanks guys , I think John " ferraripilot " has said this before , but the support one gets from the Ferrari community is just fantastic .
Next dyno run we will play with the cam timing ! John sent me some alternate emulsion tubes and jets , which I haven't even tried yet !!!
