Thanks for the positive remarks, the car hasn't been out and about for a couple of years, criminal I know but I've been sorting some other cars out and the 308 has been hemmed in.

The wheels are 16" Compomotive split rims which I put on not long after I bought the car in 1988 to replace the 14" ones that were fitted.

My take on the DFS debate is that if you don't want to take the car on a ferry or don't mind having to faff around if you do, go for it. I made the decision when I had the respray to stick to the standard front, It does go light at 130mph plus which the DFS would reduce, but I don't drive it that fast much even when I d o have it on the road...

Must have been a different 308 with the Compomotive wheels. If memory is correct, car I saw was at Brooklands.

Thank you. I recently aquired her having owned a '82 308 GTSi about 20 years ago. She is still being sorted out to make her mine and as close to perfect as I want the car to be. Pictures are deceiving the paint looks so good in the picture and so bad up close with all the little chips up front. Oh well, rather have her with some experience then a fresh face untried.

The chassis number is 25587. I bought it fully converted with GTO body, I redid the interior panels and seats in new leather. Rebuilt the suspension, i.e. new bushings, shocks, ball joints, tie rods, swaybars The car was originally red, I repainted in at 2008 Corvette millenium yellow, Had major work done on the engine, rebuilt carbs, new clutch with later model clutch bell crank for lighter clutch effort, all hoses changed. AC converted to Sanden compressor. New Stainless exhaust. New GTO turn signals and tail lights.
