308 Driving my 308

I went for a drive in my newly acquired 308QV last Sunday, with my wife as a passenger. This was the first time she had been in the car for more than a drive around local streets. We were driving along a two lane country road, and about 5 mins. into the drive she asked me to turn the radio off so she could hear the motor w/o the radio noise. It's gonna be a great car!

congrats on a great car and a great girl. my wife hates to ride in my car. i have never turned the stereo on in my car! don't even know if it works.

I still have the stock radio in my 308 GTS QV and have never turned it on since owning the car for that past 2 years, and dont intend too.

The radio in my 308 doesn't work and I never bothered to fix it.

Removed the modern radio/cd player from mine as it would have no chance in competition with the V8 four carb gobble-roar-scream in the 2000-7000rpm rev range. And to save weight.

Mine does work cuz I see the lights but i've taken it out as I restore the interior. Radio? We don't need no stinkin' radio.
