This site is dedicated to information regarding the Ferrari 348 GTS, Ferrari 348 GTS How to change the battery

Taken from above site....

How to change the battery in a Ferrari 348 GTS
I have had the car for e few months now, went from 18,200 to 19,600 on the odometer. I have had a chance to test the car in different circumstances. It has had an occasional problem turning the motor over when it is warm. I thought maybe it had something to do with the cranking amps, maybe it would be a god idea to change the battery. This where the fun starts! after checking the owners manual, I discovered that the battery is located in the front wheel well behind a louvered door.

John- If you go to ferraridatabase.com, you can download owners manuals and the workshop manual for the 348.

The battery is in the front compartment. Looks like to remove, turn off the battery disconnect switch just above the battery, unbolt, R&R, turn on the disconnect switch. Anything wrong with that, a 348 owner chime in with the correct info.

Another dumb question: Is it different for the RHD vs LHD, mine is on the Right for the LHD Mondial T.

The first couple years the battery was in the back left corner of the engine bay . After they moved the battery to the right front inner fender infront of the wheel.
