Something that I brought up in my members introduction post the other week and one that I would be keen to find out more on. How many GT4's have the air vents on the rear of the roof line. My late 78 doesn't have them, and a car very close in date (few months) to mine does. They consist of 4 holes spaced in pairs along the back of the roof line. Both cars I mention above are UK spec RHD so that rules out, country differences. Any thoughts comments appreciated. Paul. Last edited by quarryman; 01-26-2012 at 07:50 AM. |

4 holes in pairs along the back of the roof line? Do you have a picture and I can check my US '76? I'm just not sure about what you are asking about. | |

Paul- I looked through about 8 pages of photos in Google and could not see what you are referencing. Will need a photo from you.

Paul, Jim- Now I see, said the blind man. I was looking for something on the top of the car. Very interesting that some have them and some do not. Was trying to think of logical reason, like A/C, no A/C or sunroof, no sunroof, but nothing popped out. With Ferrari, it does not have to be logical.

| Indeed Taz. In fact, it generally helps to look for the illogical answer. Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most. |

| Thanks for the comments and yes I thought perhaps as mine has factory sunroof it doesn’t have them. But as you say it’s Ferrari in the 1970's bit like Heuer in the 70's, odd dial hand combos, trying to do many things with no rhyme or reason. I’m digressing, back to cars!!! And that car does look great in silver cheers Paul |

Silver, Black (Barry) and Red all look great! And JayG we still haven't found an answer. It's hopefully a dry day here in the UK so vents or no vents I'm taking my car out. |

| Ok for what it is worth I have a non-sunroof US car with A/C and I don't have them but I don't think I've ever seen a US spec gt4 with them. Hmm...

Not limited to late cars. Here is a RHD Dino 308 GT4, still with chromodoras, with the vents. RHD seems to be common, but not always.
