Onno- Great read, thanks. The 348 had no trouble winning this comparo. The 348 has received some bad press recently, but in the contemporary press, it did just fine, regardless of what Luca said.

To be quite honest, I'm not a huge fan of the 348, but you can't be passionate about all Ferraris. I will still defend it to be represented fairly. It was a great car for its day. I don't know why everyone wants to jump on the flog-the-348-bandwagon. What makes this phenomenon so popular? Most people who rant about it have no idea what they're talking about.

The reason I actually found this test was that it was a link in a thread (on the other forum) about Wheels magazine voting it the worst car of all time. Of ALL TIME! Since the De Dion of 1888, there has been no worse car than the Ferrari 348.... What the hey? Journalists who write that sort of stuff can surely not ever, ever, ever, have driven one. And frankly, they should be shot. Blasphemy can never be tolerated.
