F355 Straight Pipes and P1445, P1449

After installing straight pipes, I now have the P1445 and P1449 error codes. I didn't have these before so I'm thinking the ECU's are fine, but rather that it's throwing the code because there is no cat's. I tried the spacer trick, but it appears to no avail. Is a software reflash the only fix for this?

Yes. You need the program the system.
