i haveing a problem with the job it will only open once, trying 2 diag this is a pain it works once then its done (so i dont think it hung up or it wouldnt work at all) my guess is that one the pump is going bad? 2 the control unit is bad, or a limmiter switch is bad if any one could help i would be great full

I understand the OP perfectly ... ................. if your car is a 355 ............... the first thing to check would be the fluid level located at the rear of the console, under the cube shaped cover. That would cause limited or intermittent travel of the top.

+1 on the fluid level. Check the fuses as well. Also sometimes the frame will get bent and that will throw the whole mechanism off.
