I'm on the lookout for a 308 GTS, and want the whole analogue experience. The only problem is that carb 308s are getting a little long in the tooth. I've seen some chat about ITBs and other upgrades to the FI systems in I's and QV's. Thinking outside the box, has anyone considered putting carbs on a QV? I like this idea 'cause I would get latest mechanics (4 valve heads) & improved gearbox (some) rust protection (perhaps) lower ks updated interior Has anyone done this? Is it practical (for example would the 2v manifolds fit?) Or am I just a crazy luddite? Comments please |
