I have a 1989 348, been in climate storage since new and went to drive it the other day, and the rev counter isnt working? Any ideas? my car only has 12k miles. Could it be a bad ground or connection? Battery was recently changed, so wondering if a ground issue? Thanks! Justin |

Places to look 1) check the connections on the back of the gauge 2) check the 5/8 crank sensor. The black lead is supposedly the tach input wire 3) check around the 5/8 ECU. I've heard stories about fuses being located there but they were on spiders. After these your probably down to tracing wires looking for a short. I doubt a battery ground issue would show up in the tach only. Lane 348ts SS #64, Nero on Nero |

Just keep driving it, it will start working again. Electricals are weird that way when not used for a long period of time. ~ Mario 1990 348 TS (87284) “I build cars for young men that only old men can afford” - Enzo Ferrari |
