well.... for one thing it's not a 6 speed they never made a 308 with a 6 speed. New steering wheel has been added. I question whether the mileage is actual. Oh and those rims are reproduction 16 inchers. Horsepower for 79 was listed at 205. Paint looks nice from the pics. Bears closer inspection I think.

Tad! I have no pricing reference but that is more than a tad. And on the '6' speed: perhaps he was counting the reverse Guide to the Galaxy: Don't Panic Rik -- LAH ! Current: 1990 Mondial T Cabriolet : Red/Tan 1995 456 GT 2+2 : Roso Metalizzato [Fer 311/C] & Tan |

I don't think it is way too much necessarily. If the mileage is genuine and certifiable, this car would be worth the money, IMHO, if not for a couple of irritating detractors. Non-original carpets. Terrible non-contemporary stereo. Non-original (more modern) rims and tyres. No mentioning of books or history. That make this car worth a lot less. But for a time-warp 308 with that mileage, yeah, you could get that sort of money. Onno |

Nearly $70K for a 308 ?! That's mint 355 money and close to 360 money. Sounds like the owner is trying to recoup his restoration costs. |

IMO the condition of the drivers seat would indicate more like 110k miles. Furthermore any dealer who cannot tell the difference between a 5 speed and a 6 speed should not be selling cars. The 'vehicle condition' section appears to relate to a different car altogether...but I am no expert. . Anyone know where that side instrument bezel holding the clock and Trans Temp gauge would have come from?

| I have recently seen Glass 308 GTBs listed for GBP 45-50k in the UK, this is twice what a steel 308 would command. Good 355s are now in the low GBP 30ks and the best 360 Modena would be GBP 50k tops.

| If the car was 30-40k, it is a very nice car, but at 70K....ummm..NO How can a Ferrari Dealer make such a huge mistake in saying it's a 6 speed??? That’s like saying it has Park Assist...WTF?!?!?! The seat does not match the mileage and the rims should be original and in pristine condition. With such low mileage with that asking price, pictures of the underside of the car should be provided without even asking. The steering wheel is not original, they did not have holes in them. The Audio/Video says factory radio....HAHAHA...didn't know they had CD players in 1979....must of been a Star Trek Edition 308 A car that is supposedly that great should have some sort of warrantee even if it's 30 days or something or at least advertise a major service to be done upon purchase or advertise that one was recently made....the "As Is"..... very suspect....hummmm Walk away... ~ Mario 1990 348 TS (87284) “I build cars for young men that only old men can afford” - Enzo Ferrari Last edited by Magnum6464; 06-22-2011 at 05:59 AM. |

| Quote: Not sure, but a worthy look and at that price, and showing the engine and the bits and parts on display I'd expect one could bargain that down a bit. And unlike the first post those seats look more honest. The first one has seats are well beyond the miles stated IMO or owned by one of the world's worst owner's wanting way too much for his lousy stewardship. Guide to the Galaxy: Don't Panic Rik -- LAH ! | Didn't see a 308 on the beginning post link, but in general early models had oil temp gauge and clock in a panel on the left corner of the dash. They were moved to the center console on the 1st injected cars (1980) and remained there through the QV, though moved from in-line to side by side in 1982. HTH
