Default Heater & vacuum hose replacement

Has anybody out there ever changed their heater hoses, if so, can you walk me threw the job

All I know is, it's a pain in the ass to change out both those hoses.

its easiest to do with the driver's (assuming US) side gas tank out and use a second person. It's not absolutely necessary to pull the tank but much easier. At the very least, you need to loosen it and move it some. Having a second person so one can feed the hose (push) while the other pulls the hose seems to take some of the strain off the hose and minimize problems. Some folks use a the tubing junction in the car to attach the new hose to the old hose and pull it through. I was concerned about snagging a clamp or snapping the old hose with that much tension on it so I just taped a pull rope to the old hose and it was a much easier pull on the old hose out. Then I used the rope to pull the new hose through. Pics here.

The return hose is completely in the front and a bit easier to deal with. I'm still working on the final plumbing for the heater cores and valves but those pics are scattered here.
