Default 308 / 328 with different wheels ? Post pics pls !

Hi, I am thinking about equipping my 328 with more modern wheels, and I am curious if you can post some ideas, for example 360, 550 etc or after market. Pls also write if you had to make any modification to the wheel arches, suspension settings etc. Which dimensions do you have (wheels and tyres) ?
Very curious to see what you guys have.

Have kept the Michalone period correct by fitting Lancia Stratos rims and Michelin TB tyres, 15" 215/50 front and 335/30 rear as was fitted to the Group 4 Michelotto 308's in period. Rear wheel arches widened based on the Alitalia liveried Group 4 Michelotto. Had suspension rebushed just prior to these changes.

Go-kart handling and fantastic turn-in of the 308 have remained I am delighted to say, with added grip in the dry but more tramelining in the wet. Handling in the wet better than expected but I am very aware of such wide rear rubber in the wet. Ride lumpy on cold days until the tyres have warmed out then the car rides more smoothly than ever before. On warm days the rear tyres get sticky collecting stones and debris and then spitting them out at following Ferrari's as evidenced during FLED 3. Apart from such anti-social behaviour, I am delighted with the appearance and driving dynamics of the Group 4 set up.

That was quite a teaser shot of the rear wheels. If they are what i think they are, they are beautiful. Please post a shot.

Thanks, (new guy),

Default 360 wheels

Hi, new guy here,

Thought you might like to see my 77 with 7.5x18 fronts and 9x18 rear 360 wheels, (rears slightly narrowed by weldcraft).

The good news is that this leaves room for F-50 front and 360 challenge rear brakes and the 18s allow really sticky modern tires.

This and a bit of other suspension work helps put the old 77 in the middle of the intermediate group, track days.

Viva Enzo,
chris

+1 on the speedline 288 style rims. They look fantastico. They are a bit pricy though. Compomotive in england makes them to order and you can get them in 17 inch diameter.

I have a '84 Euro 308 QV with 390 wheels and need to replace them. What size do you recommend and who makes wheels that look close to the originals? Who manufactures the wheels shown by wetpet? They are close enough.

Default 348 wheels on a 328

Wow that looks great! I've never seen 348 wheels on a 328 before and they really compliment the car. Nice job!

Those Stratos wheels are brilliant on a widened Michelotto GTB. Beautiful.

I like these golden wheels on a green GTB.
