Hi, I changed my spark plugs with NGK irridium spark plugs, but he is not accelerating smoothley. When i am standing still and press the gas pedal there is no problem it goes in high rpm smoothley, but when i am accelerating the car is holding in in shocks. I thought the NGK's should be an improvement but it isnt, or could this be another problem? I just ordered the 8.5mm Magnecor spark plug leads, maybe this will helps a bit. Did somebody already had the same problem? Johan |

I have a hard time blaming those symptoms on new plugs unless you dropped one or two and reset the gap. Sounds more like wires to me also. Another possibility is the plug terminal adapter caps. Sometimes they don't come with new plugs. Did you replace them? make sure they are clean/tight? I don't mean to sound condesending but sometimes the simple stuff gets by the best of us.
