Any of you chaps bought a carcoon ?

I have a F355 and want to get a carcoon for it

The Car is 425 x 190 and is kept in a garage

Couple of questions

Do you think i need an indoor or outdoor model ?

And whether i should get a Size 3 or 4 ?

I think i would prefer as small as possible but it does seem tight

I have used carcoons for 12 years and have two at the moment. There are two other types of airchamber on the market. Both have frames. I tried these but found they took up too much space. There are downsides to the Carcoon. 1) drive in entry not possible 2) with the zip at the bottom you have to get down and dirty to release the car. For this reason I use only during the winter when the cars are rarely used. In the summer i just use the oem dust cover. Suggest you do not dehumidify as well. Some moisture is necessary to prevent rubber and leather drying out. The air blown in is fine in most climates. The forced circulation prevents moisture condensing out on to the car.

I have my 430 in a size 4.

Ok, at first I thought this was great stuff/item, but why do you want to do this? Can't you just keep garage tight, from dust etc. with an A/C/heater and filtering unit?

That's what I do. Not trying to be insulting, just wonder why the need. Are there special issues with your garage?

The weather is very dank here over the winter and my garage is certaintly not air tight
