Found this. Looks to be a very nice car but still priced very high: http://www.simonfurlonger.co.uk/auto...ls.php?v_id=92 Per the discription, it does sound like it potentially has been sitting for a very long time. Plenty of references from the 90's but nothing this century. Boxer Current: F40, F50, 612, 430 Scuderia Past: 360 Modena, 360 Challenge, 550, 575, 365BB, 512BB, 456 GT, F355 GTS, 365 GTB/4 Daytona, 308 GTB |

Does look very nice, Boxer. As for the price, seems to be near a sensible range. If lower, so much the better, but if the condition is mint, then maybe this price is quite right to me. Wonder what is a sensible price for you. w/ smiles Jimmy

| My completely arbitary personal value calculator always put the 330 GTC in the middle of the price spread between a 365BB and a Daytona. As nice Daytonas are around GBP 150k-160k now and a 365BB is in the GBP 60k-80k range, the 330 GTC should be around GBP 120k. Hence for me personally this is still GBP 30k over priced.

I see how you arrived at your figures. However, maybe there's another factor you might throw in here. That is, the production numbers. Roughly 600 330GTCs versus 1400 Daytonas. My personal viewpoint is that Daytona is the consumation of V12 series w/ racing pedigree versus 330GTCs. Nevertheless, reality may be that production numbers influence market desirability and consequent "values" (price). My two pennies. w/ smiles Jimmy

Does that motor have "dual" sparkplugs per cylinder?

I was actively pursuing this car which is why I didn't post in this thread before - didn't want to create more attention. It has now sold to Belgium so is a lost opportunity for me, I planned to look at the car on the 11th of May. Too bad. I think Boxer's assessment of pricing is quite right - Boxer, GTC, Daytona in regular brackets. But I think this car was not expensive at all, it was cheap. You need to look at the Euro price, not GBP because it is LHD. For the UK it was priced too high, but it was only 165k Euro for the Europe market, about 20k less than most GTCs. Which is why it was sold to Belgium and why I lost out (I was not prepared to put down a deposit on a car I have not inspected, plenty of other ones out there even if they are a bit more expensive). So I am either looking for a cheap restoration project and then take my time or I'm going to buy a perfect one. Not sure what yet - let's look at some cars first and go drive them! One more week! Onno

As for myself, for the past year or so, I was very, very interested in 275GTS, 330GTC, 330GTS, et al. However, as agreed asking prices were unreasonable (in my mind). One owner in the States wanted something like $650,000 for his 365GTC or GTS (don't recall which). The rest is history. Looks like I am in a deeper "hole". w/ smiles Jimmy

@Jimmy - pricing for the 330GTS and 365GTS is really crazy. See this one: http://www.fantasyjunction.com/cars/...4.0Litre%20V12 Onno
