I have a very rare 1960 Maserati 3500 GT 1a serie - carburatore #AM101*76* for sale. This car was in perfect basic condition and absolutely rust free, with no corrosion to the aluminium body. The car has been standing for the past 30 years. The first owner was a racing driver and friend of James Dean and Carroll Shelby.

Original factory fitted options include: front disc-brakes and radio.

16” Borrani bi-metal disc wheels.

The Car is at present undergoing a frame-off restoration process.

This 3500 GT has not been raced.

Original colour specification is Bianco Polo Park (white) with a creamy white leather interior.

An alternative choice of colours for paintwork and leather interior will be available up until May 2009.

This 3500 GT will only be sold with an order for completion.

The asking price including a perfect restoration to the highest level is Euro 98.000, payable in installments - a Euro 35.000 deposit, plus Euro 20.000 on completion of paintwork and upholstery, and a further Euro 43.000 on final completion.

Guaranteed – completion by March 2010, with Agreement and Certificate.

I have many excellent references for professional high quality restorations on Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and Mercedes. The car is presently located for viweing in Austria.
