Jeez, 18201. That poor thing is finding it hard to find a loving owner. It's been on the market a couple of times in the last 3 years. This was the car that sold at the RM Auction in Maranello last May and sold previously by Michael Sheehan.

T1fosI, that was so cool!!! I was, being a crappy guitarist, mesmarised by the consumate skill of Michael Monarch. Those were the days: you only needed one guitarist for a rock song because he could play everything. Interesting that he used a semi-acoustic guitar (Gibson 335 for the anoraks) as well.

That reminds me - I need to source some 8-track tapes for the Boxer! This is really going to be an epic trip!

The other thing that was really cool is that I have found the wig I need for the Goodwood Revival where I intend to show up in the Boxer in 1974 period gear: flared jeans, denim jacket, and said hairdo!

2009 - it's going to be great year!

Ferrari 365 Daytona Speciale - not sold
Ferrari 365 Daytona Competizione - not sold
Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 - estimate 40 - 60k - sold 65,525 EUR
Ferrari Enzo - not sold

The most interesting sales were (to me):

AC 16/90 (1936) with competition history. 155k
1973 Carrera RS. 134k.
1969 Lancia Fulvia - 45k (over high estimate)
1968 Alfa Barchetta Sport Speciale - 51k (over high estimate)

Most interesting non-sales:

1929 Alfa 1750
1973 Carrera RSR
1967 Lola Mk 3

Some great cars in this sale - dismal performance, though.
