Any suggestions on how to improve the running of your 330 GT or 365 GT?

Well I will start beyond simply driving it Toss all the ancient ceramic/lead fuses and replace them with modern Buss made glass versions (availabe in nearly any parts store) while they are out, polish the connections with a small brush on a Dremel tool, the impact of resistance free connections is often remarkable

I made two concessions to modernity - two modern low-profile/low amperage fans installed on the front of the radiator, and a Bosch 60 amp, single wire alternator(probably more important on an early queen mother w/ all the extra electrical stuff, and only a single 40a alternator).

For rough running, sometimes you just have to start from ground zero - on the fuel side, rebuild the carbs w/ a kit from Pierce. Set up the carbs via the method provided in Allen Bishop's book (synchrometer also from Pierce). On the ignition side, have your distributors set up on a Sun machine, make sure your coils, plugs wires/boots are healthy, get the right heat range plugs. Do a valve adjustment. Once the 209/245 motor is set up, it should run a very long time w/ no fussing necessary, esp if you live in a place w/ pretty moderate weather.
