Default gorgeous 275

last month i saw this 275 undergoing restauration
i first thought this was the undercoat for the car but as it turned out the car had already been painted
all that was left to do was rebuild the car & polish it
unfortunually i don't know the s/n but can't wait to see the car finished & out in the light

That colour really picks out the shape and smoothness of the panels - no wonder you were thinking undercoat. Grab a photo of it when its finished.

Are you sure that is the final color? Is the car shrink wrapped?

that really is a beautiful car. I always loved the lines of the 275. Just liked the 250 SWB better

It's certainly a couragous choice of colour!
Fair play to the owner for not going for resale red:thumbup:
Wouldn't be my choice though (always thought it was hard to beat Fly on the 275's), but the quality of the work from what can be seen looks lovely.

here's
this gives a better vieuw of the car where you can see that this isn't an undercoat
also one of the reasons that got me confused to weather this REALLY was a real finished paintjob

Be sure to get photos of the completed job at the very end. Right now it is still hard to imagine the finished car. It is almost like a pearl white but a bit darker.
