Ferrari 195/Monza/GTE

A Ferrari with a story seen @ the 2007 Antwerp Classic Salon :

Started life as a 195 Inter with a Motto body.

Later rebodied by Scaglietti into a 750 Monza Spider.

At one point it was fitted with a 250 GTE engine.

Stayed with the owner for 40 years until it was found in a barn.

Was sold(RM) to P.Grant and now resides in Belgium.

always nice to see a special Ferrari (at first i thought it was a replica)

sn 0117S, there has been some discussion as to whether it should stay with the Monza body, personally I hope the lucky new owner will not be tempted to restore or improve the car in any way shape or form - you cannot recreate character like that.

Just found out elswhere that 0117S was once owned by Peter Helm - same guy that totalled 0647GT.
