I am the one that had the GTC a/c upgrades done. There is one very easy change you can make that no one will see. That is to replace the interior blower motor with an MB 97 E-class motor. My tech says it is a slip-out slip-in swap. It significantly increases the volume of air you are pushing. With the Daytona having the top dash vents this makes a big difference in how much air reaches you when driving. My shop did the first blower motor swap on a friends Daytona.

Thanks, I remembered you had done several things to the A/C system to increase efficiency without changing the look. Nobody could see that fan change without dismantling the car and even then nobody would notice without a parts catalog in hand. Probably not even then.

Every day I look around, and if nobody is shooting at me, it is a pretty good day.

Many thanks. Will pass that precious info to my mechanic after Fled.

Excellent!
Classic condensors sell this upgrade for the Dino, pushing the width to the far edge while still being able to fit. Not sure if the Daytona has this same old inefficient condensor fit?

Second photo is the the TCCI compressor I installed in the Bora, an exact fit on all 3 axis (BTW, I recall Maserati used eight cap bolts to mount it).

Update on the AC compressor: I gave "D" to the same auto electrician who fixed my distributor problem. Brought it Monday. After 2 hours he called me to tell that a small gasket at the point of the main compressor axle of the AC compressor had been broken. He ordered in in the Netherlands, got it within 2 days andfixed it all together. So I have still the original AC Compressor aboard, it works very well and cooooooools fine. Picked it up today.

Great stuff, 212. When are you and D going on an epic adventure again?

Onno, went to Portofino and back and then to Germany. Another 2000+km's flawless. Plan for a 3000 km drive in September.

Question, can the compressor be removed without removing the radiator?
