Brett- Yup, no problem for someone like Motion. Might be a bit expensive, though. Luckily, nobody has chopped it up to make a more desirable model than a PF Coupe.

Every day I look around, and if nobody is shooting at me, it is a pretty good day.

Car looks awful without the chrome bumpers. Will be curious to see if it get's any bids. My guess is everything will be done in private behind the scenes.

Restoration will cost at least 2x the buy price. Bad math car.

How about the other 250 on eBay:

Ferrari : 250 GT - eBay (item 320778561345 end time Oct-29-11 15:14:34 PDT)

Will it ever run again? Without the drivetrain, I wouldn't think so. How sad.

Restorations are almost always bad math, unless your car when restored goes well over $400k. Even then you might be unlucky, all depends on your purchase price and the restoration work required.

But of course, if you keep the car you might get lucky later.

I know a Dutch collector who bought one of the 17 Euro spec Daytona Spiders for around €500k in 2005 or thereabouts. Spent around €150k doing it up. Sold less than a year ago for >€1 mil. Not bad!
