Finished in Blue Ribot Metallic with full tan hide (black inserts) and tan carpets.

Complete with tool roll, hand book and Borrani wheels (9" rear)

26,281 Miles with interesting history file

In October 2008 it obtained the CLASSICHE certification of authenticity from the factory in Italy.

Ordered new, by Maranello Concessionaires Ltd, the official Ferrari importer for the UK, to be used as their demonstrator. Allan Mapp of Maranello confirmed that the car was loaned to Prince Charles for a week in 1973.

The car was sold in July 1973 for the sum of £9,250

In the late 80's the car was owned by John Coombs, famous "patron" of the 1960's - 1970's, racing Jaguars and Ferrari's.

In 1988 the car was sold for £210,000 to Modena Engineering Ltd

In August 1990 the car was sold for £400,000 with 17,500 miles

In June 2000 the car was sold to Mr Mosely for £69,990

The car was then purchased by me in June 2005

The car was loaned to BBC TOP GEAR and used for the December 2008 television program where James May (in a boat) races Richard Hammond (in the Daytona) from Porto Finno (Italy) to St Tropez (France). This episode was one of TOP GEAR'S most popular episodes and had been repeated on TV, both in the UK and globally many times. There have been over 260,000 hits on UTUBE.

This car has been featured in various car magazines including the front cover of CLASSICCAR October 2008.

The factory claimed an engine output of 352 BHP when new. In August 2008 the car was tested on a dyno and the engine horsepower output was 352 BHP. Exactly the same, 35 years later!

This car has been used for advertising commercials

Car still looks mint.

That was a great episode. Remember the police pulled them over thinking it was stolen, which I found funny. Who steals a car, then points a big SUV with cameras out the back at it to get lots of attention?

I have seen the asking prices shot thru the roof but the cars are not selling.

Still could kick myself for not buying one when they were GBP 75k.
