No offense intended and this is certainly a wonderful car, but it's definitely not a NART Spyder. There are 10 of those which were built by Ferrari, modified & bodied by Scaglietti back in the day on special order from Luigi Chinetti (sole Ferrari importer at the time). Again, this is a great car and similar in some ways but it's not a NART Spyder.

To quote: "A near flawless Spyder conversion done by Mike McCluskey of Cobra restoration fame with factory-quality metalwork..." Given that a real NART Spyder brought $7 million this year, I think a quality conversion like this for $1,195,500 isn't too bad. I'm a coupe guy myself though. | |

I think $1.2m for a butchered 275 is quite a lot of money. You know, I'm getting more purist by the minute. People should stop cutting old Ferraris up! If my 330GTC was converted in future to a 365GTS (which is very easy to do) I would be horrified! But these pretenders would pay good money for it. Onno |

a lot of coin for something that won't be allowed on most show fields.
