A real work of art. When do they bench test it?

Hopefully at the end of Feb, so it will probably be March!

I would think no chance, not unless you mean 2012! Engine would have to be fitted, plus all the ancillaries, gear box, dash, instruments, trim, new hood made etc etc.
I can wish though.

Do you think it will make it back onto the road this year?

To be honest, i haven't got a clue, all i can do is push Rob as hard as i can. Its not like ordering a new car. Too many variables.

A few pics sent to me today, bumper nudge bar, pop up lights, quarter lights, and of course the engine.
Now i am starting to get a little excited.
I even ordered some number plates in black and silver [ old style].

I'd be more than a 'little' excited! Sleepless nights is probably closer to the truth

Have you an estimated date for completion?

Grade A engine restorations are pure fetishism!

Salve,

The good news: I'm the pilot

Thanks Guy's.

A few more pic's from yesterday.

Re- anodized front grill now fitted.

Brake servo pump now fitted to the engine [ on the opposite side to most models ] the shaft for this had to be ground down then hard chromed and then ground to size and new bearing and seals could then be fitted.

Spyder door trim fitted with the L shape return that is different from the coupe.

4 round things plonked on. [ on wheels for the first time in three years ].
