Hey Jimmy, I gather from fchat that your Daytona is for sale at Bill Noon? The website says they bought it from you, I didn't know it had gone. 1971 Used Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Coupe at Symbolic Motor Car Co Serving La Jolla, IID 8662903 Quite a reasonable price, it seems to me, with Daytona's selling for €350k in Europe. All the best, Onno Future: No idea Present: 458 Italia, 550 Maranello Past: 365BB x 2, 330GTC |

Hello Ono: Yes, it is true. I sold my Daytona to the Symbolic. Time for me to rethink my values or maybe I am still going thru my midlife crisis, or simply life crisis at continum ... w/ smiles Jimmy |

No problem Jimmy, I can understand that. In the end this must be an enjoyable hobby, not a burden, so if it doesn't work, then it doesn't work. Doesn't make the passion any less, just redirected. @Gus: see you in a couple of hours! Thankfully we could find flights - driving just seemed like a bad idea this weekend. So no 458 for you to admire, unfortunately. Onno Future: No idea Present: 458 Italia, 550 Maranello Past: 365BB x 2, 330GTC |

Would appreciate if you can let me know if DK still has the 288 for sale and the asking price ? The reason I ask is because James quoted me initially a price different from what you told me couple weeks back ??? Enjoy the Daytona. w/ smiles Jimmy

Thanx for asking again. Looks like the car has been around for a while now. There is another 288 in the continent. Price not available yet. Shall think a bit. Thanx again, Gus. w/ smiles Jimmy

Jimmy, What is the history of the daytona missing it's original motor? Also, is the black stripe original? Thanks, Ed |

The black stripe is not riginial. It was the works of the previous owner, painted. w/ smiles Jimmy
